Tennis Racket

The story starts in 2007 at the Diamond Games tournament in Antwerp, Belgium where Amelie Mauresmo defeated Kim Clijsters 6-4, 7-6 (7-4).

This in itself was not so remarkable, but what was remarkable was the fact that Amelie Mauresmo had won the tournament three times in the last five years and this feat led to her possessing the world's most expensive tennis racket.

The golden racket weighs in at 8.8 pounds and is studded with 1,702 diamonds, giving it a record setting value of $1,300,000.00 USD
