WHO WILL FORM THE NEXT POLITICAL PARTY?
Malik Ghulam Mustafa Khar, who hails from Muzaffargarh, is one of the founder members of PPP along with Chairman Zulfikar Ali Bhutto besides others. He has served as Governor Punjab and has also been a Federal Minister twice. He has been in and out of the PPP a number of times and has come to be known as a maverick political figure besides being famous for his frequent marriages and divorces.
During last week, Malik Ghulam Mustafa Khar addressed a news conference at the Press Club more to lambast the PPP leadership than to outline his future strategy for his political career.
He also joined the Lal Haveli Rawalpindi famed Shaikh Rashid Ahmad when he demanded that fresh polls be held as the coalition regime had failed to deliver.
Shaikh Rashid Ahmad after losing the February election which he had contested on ML (QA) ticket has already formed his own political party named Awami Muslim League which in fact is yet another faction of Pakistan Muslim League. Is Mr Khar going to follow Shaikh Rashid Ahmad and form his own political party after all?Lahore
